2. Cookies on the public website

We do not use advertising, analytics or social-media tracking cookies on the public website. Opening the navigation menu and completing a job enquiry do not rely on a non-essential cookie. Because we set no non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.

Our fonts, images and videos are served from our own website rather than from third-party services such as Google Fonts, so viewing a page does not send your IP address to another company.

3. Strictly necessary team-session cookie

After a team member signs in to the protected admin area, the site sets one strictly necessary session cookie. It is used to keep the authenticated session secure and cannot be used to track public visitors.

• Purpose: authenticate and protect the internal admin session.
• Type: first-party, HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict.
• Name: bhp_admin_session.
• Duration: up to 8 hours, or 15 minutes while a password change is pending, or until the user signs out.
• Legal basis: necessary for secure operation of the protected service.

4. Installing the app (PWA)

Team members can install the site as an app. This uses a standard web-app manifest and does not set tracking cookies or store customer information on the device outside the signed-in session.

5. Future changes

If we add non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, we will update this notice and ask for consent before placing them, where required by law.

6. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary team-session cookie will prevent access to the protected admin area, but will not affect ordinary viewing of the public website.
